3t is an artist rooted in a life lived across continents and oceans. Her work emerges from a deep kinship with nature and a dedication to exploring its beauty, intelligence, and mystery.
Born to Zoroastrian parents in Nairobi, East Africa, and raised in London, UK, 3t has long moved between worlds—geographical, cultural, and metaphysical. Her journeys have spanned across Europe, India, Nepal, Africa, and North America, as well as a three-year expedition on the world’s oceans, for coral reef research, diving in the tropics.
For over two decades, she has lived in Puerto Rico’s mountainous rainforest in Patillas, working with the Institute of Ecotechnics, in sustainable forestry, and with endangered plants on the frontlines of forest regeneration, as well as wood salvage.
Her paintings distill root and river, wind, and rain fusing scientific engagement with a visual language alive with motion, memory, and transformation.
This is the beginning of that story.
3t Vakil brings the wild beauty of the Puerto Rican rainforest to life through bold, nature-inspired art.
For home, office, library, or sanctuary. For spaces that think and breathe— where form meets intuition in quiet revelation.
The rainforest, rendered in pigment and pulse. Fragments of wilderness suspended on walls like spells.
